Playmobil History 70214 Greek Goddess Hera

Goddess Hera, the wife of Zeus, is depicted with a crown, sceptre, and her symbolic attributes: the peacock and the pomegranate.

Hera is one of the twelve Olympian gods and serves as the patron goddess of marriage. She is known for her jealousy and wrath towards Zeus's numerous affairs and holds grudges against his illegitimate children. Hera's crown and sceptre signify her dominion, while the peacock and pomegranate are her traditional symbols. According to myth, Hera placed the eyes of the hundred-eyed giant Argos on the feathers of the peacock after his death, giving peacock feathers their distinctive eye-like patterns.

The set includes the goddess Hera with her crown, sceptre, peacock, and pomegranate.
